VIP cottages had a great weekend with the world-famous Isle of Wight Festival in full swing. The Isle of Wight festival, known for being the first major festival of the UK summer calendar, the festival brought heritage and culture from the past 45 years to the island. This event with many more around the island throughout the year is one of the many reasons that the Isle of Wight is the place to visit year-round.
Bright and early Monday morning brought the remnants of the weekend, with memories, photos, very muddy wellies and glitter that refuses to come off. The ringing of ears and humming’s of artists remains with the likes of Rod Stewart, Bastille, David Guetta and Clean Bandit to name just a few, being sung throughout the day.
Even though this festival may be over, there are still plenty of ways to keep busy this summer on the island with a whole host of events, festivals, races and days out coming up.
